Shadow of War

Monolith

	Joining folks at Cinco, I had a blast to work on marketing content for the successor of the critically acclaimed Shadow of Mordor by WB Games and Monolith.I was responsible for the entire 3d work during the campaign. From doing 3d sketches at the initial pitch, exploring and finding brand-defining visual identity through lighting and character poses, building out key, dlc and definitive edition art, rendering out gnarly orc faces for E3, doing magazine cover art that ended up on Game Informer and Xbox Official, to finaly animating the pre-order bump.The amount of in-game and cinematic assets from Monolith and Blur posed a challenge of quickly integrating them into my pipeline. For keeping my focus on art instead of logistics I wrote a toolset in python to aid me out in converting shaders, attaching rigs, etc.

                I had the opportunity to work on Key Art for the next instalment of Capcom’s zombie brawler.
                Early on in production I was tasked bringing 2d Key Art sketches to 3d and do posing dev. Later
                I built the hi-res Frank asset, mall interior layout, did final lighting and rendering which was
                handed out for matte painting and retouching.

                    I had the opportunity to work on key art for now canceled Platinum Games’ Scalebound. 
                    I brought the hero in-game character to advertising fidelity, explored facial expressions, did the
                    texturing and look-dev for the hi-res dragon and worked on some environmental elements before
                    everything was haded out to another artist for final posing, assembly and rendering.

A Day One title for Xbox One. I was responsible for building the hi-res Marius character asset for marketing. It was used in early Key Art, E3 Ryse opening trailer and Gladiator Mode trailer by Digital Domain. Throughout the process the model has undergone quite a few changes, from armor design to completely replacing the face with one built from a scan provided by Crytek.
