Shadow of War

Joining folks at Cinco, I had a blast to work on marketing content for the successor of the critically acclaimed Shadow of Mordor by WB Games and Monolith.

I was responsible for the entire 3d work during the campaign. From doing 3d sketches at the initial pitch, exploring and finding brand-defining visual identity through lighting and character poses, building out key, dlc and definitive edition art, rendering out gnarly orc faces for E3, doing magazine cover art that ended up on Game Informer and Xbox Official, to finaly animating the pre-order bump.

The amount of in-game and cinematic assets from Monolith and Blur posed a challenge of quickly integrating them into my pipeline. For keeping my focus on art instead of logistics I wrote a toolset in python to aid me out in converting shaders, attaching rigs, etc.
